Is Achilles older than Patroclus in the film "Troy"?

I have heard Patroclus is older...but in the movie Hector says he
killed a boy, and that he was young...too young. But if he was older,
than wouldn't they think that Achilles is too young then? I'm confused
lol How old is Patroclus supposed to be?
